Hi,
I’m Lulu, a Physiotherapist working in Pelvic and Women’s Health. I have been supporting women with pelvic health and fertility challenges for the past 15 years.
For the past five years, I have had the privilege of teaching the practical component of Mandy Roscher’s Foundations and Advanced Pelvic Floor courses to physiotherapists across South Africa.
I trained in teaching Mindfulness with IMISA and the University of Stellenbosch and I am passionate about Physio’s using mindfulness in their Physiotherapy approaches and believe this is one of the biggest tools we can use to practice Psychologically informed Physiotherapy.
I am delighted to share my new course: Pelvic Health Physiotherapy in Women with Fertility Challenges.
This course comprises of an 8 week mindfulness course (which can be completed as a stand alone course for Australian Physiotherapists already working in Pelvic Health) with the option to complete the fertility component of the course afterwards too.
The course combines live online sessions with pre-recorded lectures and is designed for physiotherapists who are already trained in internal pelvic examinations.
The physiotherapy treatment approaches discussed in the fertility component of this course include dry needling (not pelvic floor specific needling, just dry needling). Participants are responsible for determining their own professional scope of practice and ensuring they have appropriate training and competency in dry needling before applying these techniques clinically.
Please note that this is not an introductory dry needling course. The needling approaches presented assume prior training and experience in dry needling techniques.
This course integrates mindfulness, reproductive and pelvic health theory and physio treatment techniques to support women experiencing fertility challenges.
‘Lulu’s mindfulness course is life changing; the amount of effort and time she has put into this course and its content is unbelievable…do yourself a favour and sign up now…this is the best money I have spent in a long time.’ L, Pelvic Health Physio.

‘Mindfulness has carried me through some tough seasons in my personal life and has helped framed the way I interact with the ladies I treat. I think it’s the perfect tool to help us navigate these crazy busy lives we lead. Doing this course has helped me to slow down, give more space to notice what is happening and then helps me connect back to myself’. C, Pelvic Health Physio, Durban.
